How we make money
Commercial relationships should be visible. They must not decide a company’s rating.

The current position
This pre-launch directory has no active paid business plans, advertisements or affiliate links. Company names, domains and external source names are plain text. No outbound company or source links are included.
The intended model
Future revenue may come from business tools and clearly labelled advertisements. Specific plans and prices have not been set. Any paid placement must be labelled where it appears.
Ratings will come from reviews
Payments will not be an input to the planned rating calculation. Companies will not be able to buy positive reviews, a higher score, removal of criticism or an evidence badge.
Directory order
Companies are ordered by the supplied external score, highest first. Ties retain the supplied order; companies without a numerical snapshot are listed last. The full list is visible by default. Payment does not affect this order, and an external score is not a service endorsement.
Updates
This page will need to change before any paid plan, advertisement or affiliate link goes live. The relationship must also be disclosed on the affected page.
